Mysteriously melancholic music by a Bristol based artist (or multiple musicians?) with zero online presence anywhere online but here on Bandcamp, but I am all for it, even if curious to know more. So wonderful to stumble across this 3 track gem of strangely wonderful wooziness. You're welcome : ) Joe Borreson
The music appears fragile on the surface, but there is an unexpected strength to each of the Flower Studies. Each study has its own distinct character and the compositions presumably take their names from Braun’s set of images. Notable studies include the sombre melancholia of Gout Wort and the macabre uplift of Chrysanthemum no 1. Flower Studies gets under your skin, in the best possible way. freersounds
The hard-hitting, genre-agnostic songs on the latest from Dan Webb were inspired by conversations he had with a wide range of musicians. Bandcamp New & Notable Jun 18, 2023
